The Canadian Network for Mood and Anxiety Treatments (CANMAT) is one of our toolkit development partners, and responsible for the treatment guidelines recommending exercise as a treatment for depression. CANMAT is a network of academic and clinical experts dedicated to improving clinical care for people with mood and anxiety disorders.

CANMAT has recently revamped their website. It now includes various resources for health professionals, as well as for individuals with mood and anxiety disorders and their families: https://www.canmat.org/resources/

Included in their resources is the CHOICE-D patient and family guide to help further understand all evidence-based treatments available for depression. They also have the full CANMAT clinical guidelines for depression and for Bipolar Disorder.
